The 24 Heures Motos is one of five races on the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC) calendar. The season comprises another 24-hour event in September (the Bol d’Or), while the other three are all eight-hour races (Slovakia Ring, Oschersleben and Suzuka). The championship is split into two classes – Formula EWC and Superstock – and runs from September to the following July.
